Frequently Asked Questions

How do i submt my completed assignment and/or Project? what should I include?

Email us at juniorcurator@museumofglass.org using the title of the assignment or project in the subject line. Please include a photo of your completed project, your name, age, and mailing address. Look for your project in the upcoming virtual gallery and a sticker in the mail!

*Note that for your image to be included in the virtual gallery it will need to be high resolution. A smart phone image (sized at 1.6 MB) will work just fine.

When I submit a completed project, will I be graded on it?

You will not be graded – there are no wrong art projects – but you will receive a sticker for each completed project submitted. Your work will also be included in an upcoming Virtual Gallery.

I completed a project and have a sticker, am I a Junior Curator?

Great question! There are three levels to Junior Curator Academy – Intern, Assistant, and Curator. Complete and submit any nine projects to achieve Junior Curator status and receive a badge and certificate for your accomplishments.

What do the Learning Standards noted on episodes and projects mean?

Each episode of Junior Curator Academy, and corresponding at home projects, are aligned with Washington State Learning Standards as defined by the state legislature. Standards are easily accessible to assist home learners and educators fulfill academic credits.
