Adult groups of 20 or more can schedule a tour led by a Museum docent, trained to provide an enriching experience within our galleries. Tours can be specific to an exhibition or a general tour of all of our galleries. Tours typically last about an hour and you'll want to plan on spending at least 30-45 minutes in the Hot Shop. Adult groups also have the option of adding on a hands-on fused glass workshop for an additional charge.
Is your group 62 and older? Consider our Seniors Tea and Tour. Led by a docent through the galleries and Hot Shop, the Seniors Tea and Tour culminates with tea and cookies in our Education Studio, along with an art-making project.

General Tour with Fusing Workshop: $26/student, $6/teacher, $6/chaperone
Tours for classrooms, including homeschool groups, preschool groups, summer camps, and day cares are a great way to augment learning. All students spend time exploring the galleries with a docent, visiting the Hot Shop, and making their own works of art in the Education Studio. The experience for your students is based on the current exhibitions and connections we can make with classroom learning. Teachers may receive our Curriculum Guides to learn more about the upcoming exhibitions and lesson plans for pre/post-visit activities.
All preschool to 12th-grade tours include a hands-on workshop in the Education Studio. For an additional fee, second graders and older can participate in a fused glass workshop.

Blind and Low Vision Tours
Free with pre-registration
MOG’s newest tour offering has been specifically designed to serve the Blind and Low Vision community. This tour includes welcome and introductions, a visit to the Hot Shop, and docent-led gallery discussions, as well as use of tactile images, objects, and 3D prints made to replicate the shape and feel of glass art pieces. The tour concludes with refreshments in the Education Studio, where you will have a chance to give us your feedback on being a Blind or Low Vision guest in Museum of Glass.
It is our goal and aim to make the most inclusive and immersive experience possible for the Blind and Low Vision community.
The next Blind and Low Vision Tour will take place on Saturday, September 28, 10:30am–1pm. To register, please contact Elisabeth Emerson at eemerson@museumofglass.org or 253.284.4713.
