Arriving

The entrance to Museum of Glass is located on the East side of the building, along the waterfront. If you’re parked in the garage, use the stairs or glass elevator located next to the pay booth to access the Main Plaza. If you are on foot, there are ramps to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers on either side of the Museum.

There are several spaces in the parking garage designated for visitors with disabilities. The glass elevator is located on the East side of the parking garage and provides easy access to the Main Plaza and Museum entrance.

Wheelchairs

Museum of Glass is ADA-compliant and fully wheelchair-accessible. If needed, visitors may borrow wheelchairs from the Admissions Desk free of charge. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A Driver License or State-issued ID is required when borrowing equipment.

Strollers

Single wide baby strollers are permitted in the Museum. Larger strollers can be checked at the Admissions Desk.

Seating

There are several benches and seating options located throughout the Grand Hall and galleries. In the Theater and Hot Shop, seats are tiered with aisle access. Both of those spaces also have wheelchair accommodations.

The Museum also has one folding cane seat that is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A Driver License or State-issued ID is required when borrowing equipment.

Elevators

In addition to the glass elevator, which is located on the East side of the building and provides access between the parking garage and the Main Plaza, there is an elevator in the Grand Hall for ADA access to Chihuly Bridge of Glass/Rooftop Plaza. The latter is available by request only.

Caregivers

If you are a caregiver for a person with a disability, please let admission staff know upon arrival for a free pass to the Museum.

Service Animals

Museum of Glass allows trained service animals in all public areas of the Museum.

Photography

You are welcome to photograph all the indoor spaces including the collections for personal use unless otherwise noted. No flash, video, tripods, or monopods please.

Backpacks
and Large Bags

Large backpacks, coats, and other items can be claim checked at the Admissions Desk.

Lost and Found

Left behind items will be held at the Admissions Desk. To contact, please call 253.284.4750 or email info@museumofglass.org.

Food and Drink

Outside food and drinks are permitted in the Hot Shop only. Water for medical reasons can be cleared to enter the galleries at the Admissions Desk, as required. Glass containers are not permitted at the Museum.

Sketching

Sketching is permitted in the galleries, pencils, and dry media only. No ink or paint.

Wi-Fi

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, Museum of Glass asks that visitors respect the following rules:

Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Keep mobile phones and other devices on silent. Please limit talking on mobile phones to the Main Plaza or non-gallery spaces.
Smoking is not permitted in Museum of Glass or on the Main Plaza.
Do not touch the artwork. Interactive installations are labeled as such.

Museum of Glass reserves the right to deny admission or remove any person that we consider behaving inappropriately or that could detract from the experience of the visitor.
