theater at museum of glass

Our 180-seat theater is our forum for MOG-produced documentary films, artist lectures, storytelling sessions, and special music events.  The programming relates to and supports the exhibitions in our galleries and the artists in the Hot Shop.  Demonstrations and mini-workshops in the Grand Hall extend this programming to a wide audience.

Every day, visitors can view original documentary films to expand their understanding of the artwork in the galleries, gain insight into the artistic process of a particular artist, or review the techniques and history of glassmaking. Films repeat throughout the day.

Call 253.284.4719 to hear the documentary offerings on any given day.

The Theater is available for rental for private events.
