Directions
From I-5 in Tacoma (north or south):
- Take Exit 133 (City Center) to I-705
- Take the S. 21st Street Exit
- Turn left onto S. 21st Street
- Turn right onto Pacific Avenue
- Turn right onto Hood Street (just past the Tacoma Art Museum)
- Turn right at stop sign onto S. 15th Street which becomes a ramp that curves to the left
- Turn left onto Dock Street
- Museum of Glass is on the left
Alternate route from I-5 in Tacoma
- Take Exit 133 (City Center) to I-705
- Merge right and take the Schuster Parkway Exit
- Turn right (east) at the first light onto South 4th Street, which becomes Dock Street
- Drive about 1 mile on Dock Street
- Museum of Glass is on the left

Parking
The City of Tacoma operates a parking garage that is located beneath the Museum of Glass. Parking rates are $2.50 per hour. Additional free parking is available on Dock Street, on Pacific Avenue across the Chihuly Bridge of Glass and at the Tacoma Dome Link Station (see below).

Public Transportation
The Tacoma Link light rail is a free way to get to the Museum from around downtown. Many visitors take advantage of free parking near the Tacoma Dome, ride to the Link’s 2nd stop, 19th and Pacific, and walk across the Chihuly Bridge of Glass to the Museum.

From Downtown Seattle, take Sound Transit’s Seattle Express bus (route 594) or Sounder train.
