Charlie Parriott is the owner of Charles Parriott Glass in Seattle.  He is known in the glass community for his mastery of color in glass.  In the 1980s, he studied at the University of Applied Arts in Prague, Czechoslovakia.  His work is influenced by his interest in Eastern Europe, particularly the legends and traditions of the Czech Republic.  Parriott was the Hot Shop Manager when the Museum of Glass opened in 2002, and the shop was designed and built under his leadership.
