Richard Marquis is a pivotal figure of the contemporary Studio Glass movement. Throughout his career he has freely shared his knowledge, demonstrating and teaching in the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.  His work has a whimsy and spontaneity that belies the sophistication and depth of his artistry and has a distinctive sense of humor.
