Red Hot! Fire & Ice…

By Justin Kuravackal, September 19, 2007 | Photos; General

Our annual gala was this past weekend. Artists from around the world, most of whom have been Visiting Artists here, donated artwork to our live and silent auctions. The Visiting Artist program as a whole was featured during the live auction as well—a “paddle raise” for the VA program brought in tens of thousands.

I think this year’s Hot Shop experience was the most exciting Red Hot show to date. We turned up the music and turned down the lights as the Hot Shop Team cast and blew glass into blocks of ice and Pyrosutra Incendiary Dance amazed everyone with their fiery moves. (I’m glad to have escaped the photo shooting with nothing singed.)
