Fred Wilson’s Video Intro

I met Fred Wilson this morning, and he seems like a very down-to-earth guy and very interesting to talk to. He is one of the best known contemporary artists in the country and also has work in our Mining Glass exhibition. Much of his work deals with issues of race and stereotypes. He is directing our team to as they work in black glass, which will take on droplet-like forms. The black forms allude to african-american people, oil, tar, ink, etc.
