Introducing Beverly Semmes… Beverly is an artist best know for large scale instalations involving fabric, like dresses she calls a “perfect 6000.” Her art also examines female stereotypes and issues of identity and gender. Born in Washington D.C, Beverly currently lives in New York City. She received an M.F.A. in Sculpture from Yale School of Art.
