Greg Dietrich’s Artist Statement

By Greg Dietrich, June 13, 2007 | Dietrich, Greg; Artist Statements

I am moved by my own work…it inspires me and fascinates me to look at the finished product. I enjoy the thought process of drawing animales and sealife on glass and then with my hands, make it a permanent reality. There are many different processes used in making my work, and it’s not always fun, but when I finish each piece, the gratification I feel sends me right to my next idea. I am so driven by this gratification that I never feel obligated to work…I want to. This is the beauty of my work and I would hope that every living soul could be this happy in what he or she does in their daily life.
