Christina Orr-Cahall, chief executive of the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, Fla., has been chosen as the new director for the Experience Music Project-Science Fiction Museum in Seattle. She succeeds Josi Callan, who served as interim director of the museum since 2006 and Orr-Cahall expects to begin on or before July 1.

The museum, which includes rock, jazz and blues music displays and sci-fi memorabilia, was established by Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen in 2000 and designed by famed architect Frank O. Gehry.
