Visiting Artist Residency: February 4 -8 & February 11 - 15

The Museum is honored to once again host Lino Tagliapietra in the Hot Shop. Lino’s glass-blowing skills still trump other efforts in the United States and elsewhere. Although rooted in the thousand-year-old story and traditions of Venice, the inventiveness of his work keeps it relevant to contemporary aesthetics. His art in glass stands within the grandest ranks of the decorative arts, an honored discipline of unabashed beauty and the most exquisite handwork.

Come and see the maestro create stunning works of art as he takes a seat at the artist’s bench in the Hot Shop—you’ll be amazed!

Special Hours: The Museum will open at 9 am Wednesday – Saturday for this residency.
