This weekend is your last chance to see Lino Tagliapietra in Retrospect before it travels to venues around the country. The first exhibition to look at the art and 40-year career of Lino Tagliapietra, this spectacular retrospective has received high praise from Museum visitors all summer long. Don’t miss it before it leaves Tacoma.

Widely revered as the maestro of glassblowing, Tagliapietra is recognized as the elder statesman between the glass centers of Venice, Italy and the Pacific Northwest. Now at age 73, Lino continues to influence Studio Glass artists around the world with his artistic mastery and vision. The exhibition includes 169 objects, including pivotal and renowned series of artistic work, designs made for industry, and private objects that have never been exhibited.
