Fellow docents, while there's little information about this piece, it is speculated that this window may have been commissioned by a wealthy family to memorialize a young loved one. However, stay tuned. Perhaps the Tiffany Foundation may provide insight. Nonetheless, the technique seems very much like grisaille. Monochrome gray shades......a representationf of relief sculpture.....painted enamels?
