Save the Date! Confluence Project Blessing Ceremony

The Confluence Project Board of Directors invites you to attend a Blessing of the Land Ceremony:
Sunday March 18, 2007
3:00 p.m.
Celilo Falls Park
The event is scheduled to coordinate with the commemoration of the 50th year of the covering of Celilo Falls. Please join the Confluence Project, Maya Lin and Tribal Partners at a Blessing of the Land. This ceremony will prepare the site for contextually significant artworks designed by Maya Lin.
We also invite you to join us at a free public conference, Celilo Stories, one of several events held throughout the weekend. Offered by the Center for Columbia River History at theColumbia Gorge Discovery Center in The Dalles, Oregon on March 17 and 18, 2007, the program will bring together more than twenty scholars, artists, elders and authors for conversations on the meanings of Celilo Falls.
