Mining Glass Opens
Our 5th anniversary show, Mining Glass, features a diverse group of acclaimed artists who although not part of the Studio Glass movement have used glass as the medium for some quite interesting work. The show fills both the North and South galleries and many of the pieces are very large in scale. Several of the artists were insistent that there be no barriers between their work and the public. Although you still cannot touch the artwork, you do get to be very close, even in the artwork instead of behind a railing.
