The best of these ornaments will be donated by the Museum to Festival of Trees, the annual gala and fundraiser for Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma.

Kids Design Glass Creation with Guest Artist Nancy Callan
Sunday, November 25
Sponsored by Key Foundation, a foundation funded by KeyBank, and the Muckleshoot Charity Fund

Kids Design Glass offers visitors aged 12 and under, and children at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, the chance to get into the act of art design. Each month, one entry is selected to be interpreted into glass by the Hot Shop Team. A selection of these whimsical designs and the resulting fantastical creatures, each with its own unique story, is on display in the Studio. An exhibition of the full collection, including the glass sculptures, original designs and photographs documenting the process, will be on display in our gallery beginning September 20, 2008.
